Cuevona´s Cave is a spectacular natural cave, whose particularity is to be the only way of communication with the outside of this small town located between t river and mountain. As if it were a tunnel, the road is introduced inside the mountain, accompanied on his route by a small stream, leaving the astonished visitor facing the spectacular natural layout to observe.

 Jurassic Period

The coastline of Ribadesella, Villaviciosa and Colunga is known as the Dinosaur Coast, as all three municipalities share Jurassic paleontological treasure. Ribadesella´s Cliffs are some of the most important remains of the Spanish Jurassic Period, anyway there are some other areas as Tereñes which has pioneered guided visits to the cliffs .

RULA

" Rula" is the system of auction in which a given price will decline or change, for example 50 to 50 cents, until it is stopped by a buyer interested in the price or a disinterested seller .

That is why the Fish Market House and other units of the Virgin of Guía Fishermen buildings, are called  Rula.

"The court is where catches are set for auction. There is a balcony, on the court were seats, table and a panel are located.

The tour contains six ceramic murals in blue and sepia colors, telling the viewer Ribadesella history from the prehistoric Period to nowadays. Each panel refers to a particular time :

Ribadesella´s Museum is located in a building from 1900. It was an old school of Indian origin. This means a kind of arquitectur that people who returned from South America create with their fortune. The building was built in order to point out the complexity and rich heritage from Ribadesella´s council to the public. The aim is to create and gradually develop a cultural center dedicated to collect all assets from Ribadesella´s territory, such as historical, artistic , natural, ethnographic and industrial resources.
